Overall, i liked this story, even if there isn't a lot! It's a great start! I can't wait to read more. I like the two MCs, and i really like the side characters. Like a previous review stated, the title is confusing, but you get it by the end. Overall, a good read, and I recommend it! Great job author! Can't wait for more.

I come here after having read the entire first chapter (10 parts). This feels like a fantasy book taken from a bookstore. The story unfolds slowly, but world-building is great. I can truly sense the background behind each character. Using Abigail as narrator makes it more immersive.
I also really enjoy seeing the relationship between Asmodeus and his pupil, Abigail. She treats him with respect by calling him "master," but in their interactions, they seem more like father and daughter.
    The secondary characters are endearing.
Reading this gave me a similar feeling to what I experienced with books like The Name of the Wind or The Stormlight Archive. If you're into the High Fantasy genre, this is a read I recommend.
The title, The Alchemist of Elker, confused me. The Alchemist is not who you think. You'll understand by the end of the first chapter. I can't wait to see what the author has prepared for the rest of the story.
Is this an isekai? The author constantly hints at it, but I like that the book doesn't fall into the clichés of isekai genre. So far, it seems like Asmodeus is a genius from our world surviving without powers in a world full of wizards. I'm really looking forward to the next chapter. The villain is approaching.
