Description

Marjorie Hansen was just going out for an errand... and then she died. Tragically young some would say, but all in all not the most unusual of occurrences. But rather than having her soul pass into oblivion or wherever it is that souls go, hers was snatched up on the way. Snatched and forged into something despicable in the soul forges. The result, a Conquest Seed, a living weapon made to subjugate or destroy an entire world. From the forges she was sent through the void until she landed in a new world, the magic of the seed seeping into the land and shaping what she would grow into. Unbeknownst to all, a new horror is rising from the soil, a terror that will consume and subjugate all. Because Marjorie is gone and in her place exists only the Sovereign Swarm.Authorship Discord:https://discord.gg/VPGjgMyCSj

And it is a true gem with some not unique but great systems and great swarm/hive mind development. It has 3rd party parts but they advance the story instead of distracting and the focus is obviously on how the hive mind works it minions. Also, no body for the main consciousness so far!
I strongly suggest giving it a read.

I really like this story so far:
Finally, we have a novel with an inhuman swarm that seeks to consume all, or at least one that i found.
    Good points:
I personally really like the protagonist being a swarm that seeks to consume all. the alien thought process, priorities and morality (or lack thereof) provide a breather from traditional royalroad stories, as well as a great itch that this story scratches.
Additionally, the concept of a non-centralized swarm is something i like, and by giving it the task of consumption and assimilation you create something that is incredibly appealing to me.
The fast pace is great too, as many stories seem to dawdle off and not progress a lot by chapter 150, after which i lose intrest in stories that otherwise are pretty nice.
    Bad points:
The story progresses fast which is great, except it's too fast. if the chapters were longer this would've been fine, but i sometimes need to re-read a few paragraphs to catch back up, and i forget quite a bit of detail as the story rushes ahead without letting it sink in properly.
I will probably write a more detailed review as the story progresses, but for now this is a unique and memorable gem. i really hope that the protagonist keeps devouring things as it always has instead of turning to "i am good now, i shall help humans" when... she? it? eh, whatever regains her memories.

I'm not going to lie. At first, I thought this story to be just another droplet in the ocean of novels.
But the more I read the more I enjoy it.
The little glimpse of memories. The insect behavior mentality. Going thru the story from the view of the swarm. Then complemented by the beast, trees, and human perspective.
The development of the swarm is well built and not here you go you are on top of the world.
The swarm is realistic too. It lost a few battles, learn from them grew, and came back to conquer. It shows the process of developing an identity too. Not a mindless killing machine.
The process of acquiring new forces is also interesting. I hope to see a lot more variety in the future. I know the more the harder it is to make them unique and flash them all out but I believe you can do it the same way you give life to the humans.
The characters of your story are tangible. They are alive and are enjoyable to read. They are well built and not just fillers.
I don't have anything that I dislike. I really recommend this novel.

I really enjoyed that she had an "oh shoot" moment when remembering her humanity, but I enjoyed even more that it wasn't to be more 'humane' but rather that there was a better way to do things.
There are quite a few grammar issues, but they don't detract from the story as a whole as they aren't too invasive.
In the story there are quite a few quirks the author has, but it's realtively easy for me to push through them or ignore them, even though it has driven some readers away.

New novel, can't say much but I like it, the "protagonist" feels like a collective mind, very detailed good world-building, I just like the feel of the novel, I have high hopes for where it can go and I Really hope this doesn't just go in hiatus forever to be forgotten, so good work author

    Very cool and unusual!
The point of view of the swarm is just engrossing to follow, and the writing is clear enough to read easily despite the strangeness.
There are a few too many notifications for my taste, especially since I think the story would work perfectly without having them at all, but I realize they're popular on this site. I'll keep reading!

I'm loving it so far, though the story's weaknesses are rather apparent. It seems like there are a few grammatical errors in every chapter, and the interchangeable use of pronouns for the MC does more to confuse the reader than contribute to the story. Where does the "she/he" come from? Does it make sense for a swarm?
Most of the side characters have come across as shallow thus far, their personalities lacking consistency scene to scene.
All that said, it's still a fun story! Apocalyptic MC's are rare enough, and this one is handled well. Hoping to see this improve in the future(maybe a rewrite down the line), as I'm sure it can be even better as the author improves.

Some dang good stuff. A better hivemind/swarm story then most I've read. There's quite a bit ofperspective shifting, especially later on, however they are handled well and flow nicely.
I give it a 4, more from a gut feeling then a detailed analysis. I'll be following this one. Sees how it goes

Feels rushed first human encounter on day 2.
They are able to escape and warn all the people.
Well it would be alright if it follows the standard human notice strange -> become wary -> powerful unknown being -> big reveal start war
But no send hundreds of insects out the very next day to infect all humans close to by (woodworkers etc) to make sure that everyone can say yes there is something truly strange and it is not a fluke
Not to mention hey we need a reliable way to get food. We could use our trees and plantlife to get make it. Nah let's take over the town there and force everyone to join us so the farmers then work for us. Even through they know we are coming and we just lost half of our army.
that aren't tiny insects that can be killed via random charm by the hundreds
All in all can say it is an interesting concept but it tries to hard to move the story on without much thinking of if that course of action is beneficial or detrimental to the swarm. Will shelf it and think about giving it another try when ~ 100 chapters are out to see if anything changed or it still has masochist mc.
