Jade, a college student with an internship as a detective with her local police department, is investigating a brutal series of murders. But as she's investigating these murders, she finds herself falling for the two most unlikely men, Brody Madden and Billy Frost. But little does she know that the lovers she's falling for may be her top suspects as they're often disappearing off into the night and coming home after 2 in the morning with muddy shoes.
