- Alex_BovRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Read the first 5 chapters. Really enjoyable story so far, with multiple "main" characters, all with well-defined complex personalities.
- HerbacioRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has become one of my favourites for a few reasons. I may be a little biased, but I love isekai stories and magic, and although this is not an isekai story is does have magic and all the goodies that come along with it, like dragons and giants as of the last chapter.
Our main character, Rox, and his companions are very likeable and their converstions are natural, because the author literally writes them on the spot. Man's a genius I tell you a genius!
Another thing to note is that the story always keeps you on your toes, Rox and the world around him, Chalice, are completely unknown to us and little by little more is revealed to us. Not all the questions are answered when you want them to be and this leaves you with the desire for more making you come back the next week, damn you Silence!
If you're looking for a very lore-heavy story that has a lot of focus on world building and character development this is the story for you. Not to mention the top-notch illustrations by Cooki, that started around chapter 10. The illustrations are not the same style as the usual manga and light novel, but they have this cute side to them that makes me love them just as much.
I might be a little biased in this review, because I like stories like these, but this is far better than most I have read. I think if you give this story a chance you will not be dissapointed.
Lastly, f**k Sheeron. - Overlord1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0well written please continue, the chapters are great.
- PervySageChuckRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A good and entertaining story. Of course, what it REALLY needs is...
...MORE GRATUITIOUS NUDITY!
~Ol' Pervy ducks to avoid the rocks that the author is throwing at him due to this childish and irreverent review written by an obviously senile old pervert.~ - AshcheulRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0// This review was written when only 9 chaptets were avaliable
This story is not my cup of tea because of OverPowered MainCharacter. But chapters that I read have a cute flow - starting with a twist of arrogant scion girl balanced by her rough bodyguard, then their hiring few thugs to buff up their party, then followed by a light and positive roaming the land. It even gave vibes like a good shounen anime, so there's that.
If you are ok with OP part and overall janre sits well with you, it might worth of giving this book a look.
Personally, even if I wouldn't read it further, I feel positive about it because it gave me a few hours of light-hearted reading.
