Talia Malvent is an outborn fire soul, in her penultimate year at Berkhast Academy of the Arcane. She is stubborn and determined and will do anything to protect those that she loves by any means necessary, as any good fire soul would. She is worried about the trinity, a secret society focused on protecting this secret world, that believes war will re emerge and Nathan will be at the center of it, that his role as chosen one is not yet complete. War will start again, of that she is sure, what she isn’t is how the trinity is doing nothing proactive.

So she set out to do just that, and in trying to commune with her only few years dead parents almost destroys herself. If it weren’t for the help of the insufferable lightning price Arizan Adhira her effort would have been in vain. It left her questioning her hatred for him, a mutual hatred they had shared since they first met, but they were not the children they once were.

Arizan Adhira was known as the lightning prince. A prodigy of highborn family with lightning souls as far back as they could trace. War was coming, and succssesion was slowing, Arizan had seen the monster that they give worship to and he was certain in never bending a knee to it. He just didn’t know how to stop it, they had already thought him dead twice, what more could they do. He never thought that when asking his long dead uncle for advice, he’d stop the fire girl herself from destroying herself in a dangerous ritual and end up marked with what thought of as a romantic tale.
