In this story we follow Adria as she takes her third- and if the story is correct, her last chance at going back in time to change her fate. Right off the bat, this fact distinguishes it from other regression stories as there is a sense of finality to this run of events
Grammar: I can't find anything to complain about in all that I've read, the writing is solid.
Style: Again, the style leaves nothing to be desired and the writing is very technically competent.
Story: I would have to say that it is this aspect that is the strongest of this work, the story really hooks you in from the very first word. It follows the story of an outcast aiming to be a hero, an excellent trope if done well and without a doubt it is done very well. The author also doesn't make the mistake of telling you too much all at once and lures  you in with bits of information. Of course, Adria uses her prior knowledge to make things easier, but there are also many things she doesn't know. A third 'save file' doesn't mean she knows everything, after all.
Character: From what I've read, the characters are engaging, with far more to them than initially meets the eye.
Overall, this seems like an excellent story and I highly recommend it!

This novel kicks off with such a strong start—it throws you right into Adria’s world, and you’re immediately hooked by the whole time-travel twist. Adria’s voice is so compelling, with her mix of cynicism and vulnerability that makes you feel like you’re living every sharp, painful moment with her. Her constant battle with past regrets and future fears is done in a way that’s both tense and oddly relatable, despite the high-stakes fantasy setting.
The whole idea of being flung back into her old body after multiple lives? That’s a fascinating hook, and it adds layers of emotional complexity. Every decision she makes feels weighted with past mistakes and a need for survival, and you can’t help but root for her as she navigates the cruel realities of this brutal world.
The setting—especially the North and the Dark Forest—is beautifully bleak. There’s a tangible atmosphere of cold, dread, and danger, and it fits perfectly with the grim tone of the story. I loved the darker moments, too, especially with characters like Caster and Wolf, who add so much tension and intrigue to Adria’s journey.
The writing is tight and immersive, with just enough detail to draw you into the world without bogging down the pacing. You’re constantly moving forward, but with this sense that everything’s about to unravel in a big way.
In short, it’s dark, gritty, and pulls no punches. If you’re into grimdark fantasy with a strong female lead, this is absolutely one to watch!

Reborn Queen tells the story of a young woman who lost everything that mattered to her and was forced to relive it, traveling back in time to get a second, third, and now final chance at life. The protagonist, Adria, comes to life again and again as the author builds her character through tragic backstory, a sardonic wit, and visceral introspection. Adria’s psychological journey is the story that captured my attention, but there are also hints of a much more epic tale to be told with complex worldbuilding and foreshadowing at the larger conflicts as well as the impending interpersonal conflicts Adria must face. The story is told with a great blend of internal monologue, atmospheric worldbuilding, and intrigue.
    Style
The writing style in Reborn Queen excels at immersing readers in the protagonist’s world through rich, poetic prose. The internal voice of Adria strikes a perfect balance between raw emotion and sarcastic humor, making her a relatable and compelling character. The narrative is also atmospheric, subtly building a world where magical abilities and xenophobia coexist, all without overwhelming the reader with exposition. The opening hook and overall flow are smooth, capturing attention right from the start. The excellent use of foreshadowing and revealing just enough from her past lives to maintain suspense is masterful.
    Story
The story is driven by an intriguing concept: Adria’s ability to time travel through her past lives. It is clear she has unfinished business, but it is not yet clear what it is though hints have been scattered. The true heart of the story is the smooth balance of developing Adria’s backstory alongside the events of her final life as she must navigate being discarded by her once-beloved prince. The narrative progresses at a smooth pace, with steady worldbuilding and intense character building.
    Character
Adria is a well-developed protagonist with a strong internal voice that makes her journey both emotional and engaging. Her past lives g

Its a pretty good start, its interesting and fun and the characters seem intriguing to me, at least for now. I ll keep reading in the hopes that this author stays consistent and doesn't mess it up. All in all, it was a nice read and I Hope it keeps up the pace.

This review is part of a review swap.
Which, as with many of the reviews I've written thus far, had me skeptical at first because I apparently only consumed a rather small portion of 'classic' fantasy literature, with the sole exception being xianxia some-odd 8 years ago. As such, the concept of a protagonist having some sort of advantage in a reincarnation scenario isn't entirely new to me, but the idea of a time loop happening (basically chaining reincarnations together) is still rather novel.
And while I initially feared that it might take any suspension of the story, as the protagonist might be all-knowing, I feel safe to say that it doesn't seem to be the case here. Adria seems to have a general idea of what will happen, but there are already some deviations that seem to imply things won't go quite as they used to be.
    Style:
The blurb promises a fast-paced writing style and that's exactly what you get. It's very easy to read and while there's few descriptions of the surroundings, you also don't get bogged down by them. It makes reading enjoyable, if (for my personal taste) a little too shallow. Well-written dialogue takes its place, instead.
Since it's stated outright and honestly a personal taste, I cannot and will not take any 'points' for it.
    Story:
We follow the story of Adria, a foreigner raised by a sole mother in a harsh northern land (the Kingdom of Accacia, which I think hasn't been namedropped yet in the story) whose society has been shaped through conflict and scaricity. If you cannot provide, you are left to fend for yourself and out of the three possible ways a child can learn to 'provide', Adria aims for the least-socially accepted path of a performer. However, despite training for over half a decade, she isn't accepted at the end, at which point she meets the prince of the kingdom she's lived in.
Having saved her from a possibly humiliating if not downright horrible situation, he becomes her prince charming. It elevates her status until the day '

    **Overall:**
"The Reborn Queen" captivates readers with a gripping narrative, blending the complexity of time loops with a rich emotional core. Adria stands as a compelling protagonist whose journey from betrayal to potential redemption invites immense reader investment.
    **Style:**
The author showcases a firm grasp of pacing, successfully crafting a fast-paced, immersive reading experience. The prose balances poetic elegance with accessible dialogue, making it easy for readers to engage with Adria’s internal struggles and external conflicts.
    **Story:**
The premise of a time loop allows for intricate plotting, with rising stakes as Adria strives to alter her fate across multiple lives. The narrative masterfully intertwines themes of betrayal, resilience, and the quest for identity, presenting a unique twist on familiar tropes. While the world-building is solid, deeper exploration into the nuances of the Kingdom of Accacia would enhance the setting's vibrancy.
    **Grammar:**
Minor grammatical errors do appear but do not detract from the narrative's quality. Addressing these with careful editing will enhance overall readability without sacrificing the engaging essence of the writing.
    **Character:**
Adria emerges as a multi-dimensional character whose past lives contribute depth to her present. Her blend of vulnerability and strength resonates with readers. Supporting characters like add intrigue, though further development of their backgrounds would enrich the narrative tapestry. The interplay between Adria and these characters offers potential for engaging dynamics as the story unfolds.
    **Suggestions for Improvement:**
    1. Expand on world-building elements to immerse readers more deeply in the setting

This story overall is an excellent read. The plot picks up with the first sentence and does not stop even to take a breath. Each line and paragraph expand and deepen our view of the MC and the world around her.
Style: The style is fast-paced, well-crafted, and very easy to become immersed in.
Story: The story is interesting, and it is easy to form an emotional attachment to the MC. I would love to see more world-building. There were enough details to set the stage, and those details were fascinating, but I feel I could understand the MC and her motivations and challenges a little better if there was more description of the world.
Grammar: I noticed minor grammar errors in the story. Can be easily corrected with editing, and therefore not a very big deal in my eyes. It did not detract from the quality of the story in any way.
Character: The character is without a doubt the best part of this story, and there are a lot of good parts of this story. I loved the first person perspective. The aspect of time travel would have been harder to understand if it was not be recounted by the MC herself.
I would recommend this book if you like a well-crafted, first person fantasy story with an excellent MC.

This review is part of a swap, but I'm glad the author reached out to me for one. I'm really intrigued by the plot of this story!
I'm more of a standard fantasy and romance reader, so this was a fun change of pace. This story features a female MC who has been hardened by several lifetimes of betrayal and pain. She's determined not to repeat any of her mistakes -- this is her last run. That final element really sold me on the concept. It's hard to create stakes when a character always respawns, but this time is Adria's last. There's tension right from the start. And it only builds as the story progresses.
Style/Story: The author balances worldbuilding and plot fairly well, for the most part. Sometimes they go off on slight world-building tangents, but the pace of the plot draws them back to the flow of the story in short order. The writing style mirrors the pace -- simple and to the point. Generally, I favor more ornate/sprawling prose, but I think that would hinder what the author is trying to do with this story. I would on occasion like a little more artistry to the style, but style is very subjective, and I think that most readers who are fans of the genre will appreciate the fast pace and clean lines.
There is one big plot issue that bothers me, though -- why is it imperative that Adria not tell anyone that she's looping? It's a relatively simple fix that doesn't require a massive plot/info dump, but some reference to either her doing it in the past and it not going well, or some magical force not allowing her to spill the beans would be very much appreciated. Because the question of "why not tell everyone what's happening?" comes up for me every time someone gets suspicious of what she knows, and I don't know the answer. This may be revealed later, but I think it'd be a better move to get it out of the way up front so that the reader isn't constantly being nagged by it.
Grammar: For the most part, the grammar is pretty okay. There's the usual smattering of typos

I only read the first two chapters but I'm really impressed by this author. They do a really good job with foreshadowing right away. I was immediately interested with the main character and why she didn't want to touch the prince and how their relationship went south.
The pacing seems good and there is some world building that happens right away which I appreciate.
My only criticism is that the first little part of the story was a bit disorienting so some readers may get lost there and disengage but otherwise I thought the rest was well done and I look forward o reading more.
