The author asked me to give a review so I may be a little biased but I really enjoy this story.
I don’t want to spoil anything. But long story short it follows a fighter who's taken from his home world into a sort of game show where only one can survive.
The story does a great job of showing his daily struggles and the mental toll it takes being in that environment.
The pacing is well done, and it doesn't waste time getting into the action. The combat scenes are my favorite. The stakes are high, and you never know what's going to happen next, which keeps it engaging.
The characters feel real, each with their own motivations and goals. The main character's struggle to stay “human” in a world that forces him to kill is really compelling.
There were a few typos in the early chapters, but they didn't bother me too much. The writing is good enough that it's easy to get caught up in the story. Overall, good read.
It is still pretty early into the story and I look forward to what is going to happen in the future!

This book is way too good to be flying under the radar—seriously, where’s the hype? The action never lets up, the MC stands out in a sea of generic protagonists, and the writing is sharper than most stuff on RR. Plus, the author pumps out chapters fast and actually talks to readers (rare W). Do yourself a favor and jump in now—you won’t regret it.

This story is super underrated, and honestly I was hesitant to ready because of the rating, but to me is just as good at the ones at the top of the ongoing or rising stars.
The main character has a reason to push through anything, a will to fight his battles, and shows self conflict with what he is becoming. Thats already more than most MCs on this side. The pacing is super fast, the action is satisfying, and I am a sucker for the elimination-tower type of stories. Try it!

I may be biased but I this story very much.
This story tells the journey of a mam who "lost" his most beloved one, shoved into world where only one can stand victorious. It captures his daily struggles and mental dilemmas, as he kills, desperately trying to retain his humanity. Forced through difficult situations, he fights because he has no choice... and that reality is painfully clear throughout the story
    Story
So far, the story is very good (and I suspect it will get even better with more chapters). At the start, the characters have some access to knowledge. However it doesn't really help then as they're quickly confronted with challenges that force to adapt or perish. It's a great example of "show, don't tell" as the story immerses you in harsh world without over explaining. The stakes are high (read and you will know), and the world feels unpredictable, keeping the story engaging and tense.
    Characters
The characters feel alive and distinct, each with their own agenda, which is crucial in a world like this. The protagonist's inner conflict us especially compelling as he struggles to hold on his humanity while being forced to kill like a wild animal. Secondary characters are nearly (which is normal, they are mot MC) equally well developed, and their personal motivations are just as important to the story. You can't really tell from MC view who to trust.
    Grammar
There were a few typos while reading through the chapters as soon as they released, but I hadn't really noticed them much whole immersed in the story.

The Reality Games throws you into the chaos fast and keeps the pressure high. The progression is smooth, the action is sharp, and the tension feels real. Perfect for fans of survival game tropes done right. I’m already invested and can’t wait to see how far the MC actually goes.

This story starts off with a blast and does not stop! Moving at quite a clip, I really enjoyed following this one along. The premise was enticing, I thought Jack was likeable for his goal orientated mindset and work ethic, and the action sequences were heart pounding!
I thought the side characters were interesting but wish they had a little bit more room to breathe.
Overall, just a fun and frantic story that accomplishes what it sets out to achieve.

THE REALITY GAMES is a fast-paced, brutal, and imaginative sci-fi action webnovel that starts with a punch, literally. Jack Ren, the reigning MMA champion of Earth, is at the top of his game when his life is suddenly ripped apart by an interdimensional abduction. Thrown into a gladiatorial tournament against 10 million of reality’s deadliest beings, Jack must fight to win not only his freedom but the life of his fiancée, Sarah.
This webnovel delivers adrenaline in spades. The fight scenes are detailed and cinematic, and Jack’s voice is compelling, equal parts gritty determination and raw emotion. Readers who enjoy the Tournament Arc trope, as well as survival-fantasy or litRPG stories, will likely find themselves hooked quickly.
However, THE REALITY GAMES is not without its flaws. The pacing occasionally drags, especially during exposition-heavy sections delivered through the “Whisper” guide character. Some world-building elements are intriguing (like the mysterious Celestan Empire and the tiered nature of the Reality Games) but they’re often glossed over or delivered in large info-dumps rather than shown through immersive storytelling.
The early chapters shine brightest, grounding us in Jack’s reality and emotional stakes. His relationship with Sarah is sweet and surprisingly tender for a story in this genre, which adds a real sense of urgency to his quest. But once the Reality Games begin, the sheer number of contestants and factions makes the world feel overwhelming and underexplored. Secondary characters (like Elizabeth) offer promise, but many lack the depth needed to be truly memorable.
Ultimately, THE REALITY GAMES reads like a love letter to gritty action, classic tournament arcs, and survival thrillers. It’s a solid ride for fans of The Hunger Games, Gladiator, or Solo Leveling, but it may leave readers wanting more depth and less exposition.
Final Verdict: Jack Ren’s journey is bloody, cinematic, and entertaining, just don’t expect groundbreaking sci-fi. A
