The lands of Oro are full of wonders, magic and danger. The iron giants strike fear into those who live outside of cities with protective runestones. Nations form vast alliances and trading routes across the continents but trouble is brewing. Somewhere in the forgotten legends, a scholar finds rumor of a land to the west. Could it be free of the orks and giants? Would new colonies need the runestones there?

Strained by his financial situation a young man by the name of Gor joins a mercenary company called the Raven Feeders. His path will cross with a mysterious young woman and struggles he never imagined he would face.

Alanya is a young woman of considerable standing among her people and holds a generational wealth and rank few can hope to match. She has a grasp on magic that exceeds even the most gifted and strongly distrusts other people. Bound by duty she decides to set out on a quest, despite her misgivings.
