Description

At the depths of ever interwinding tunnels, a pregnant rat stumbles upon a large gemstone. Within its glass surface rages a whirlpool of green light, beckoning the rat with its glow. She draws closer, urged on by a strange power,to find a puddle of green goop leaking from cracks in the stone.

hesitantly, the rat gnaws at the liquid, and reels back from a sudden power surging into its small body. It sprawls, claws scratching at the rough stone floor in an attempt to leave this strange room, to flee from the gem, to no avail. The power pushes from her insides, forcing the rat to twist and expand with each step as she grows beyond a wolf, beyond a bear, ever beyond as she keeps running.

Best read ever! The author gets you to become part of the character's world immediately. With every new chapter, a new layer of intrigue appears. It's an ever changing and exciting story. As it unravels you find yourself deeply feeling every moment. A unique quality of the writer is how smoothly we  switch between one point of view to the next - all while shifting our affections and interest between different characters. You find yourself taking everyone's side in the story, despite their rivalries. This story evokes deep feeling, intrigue and never fails to surprise the reader. It's a story that can be read over and over again to uncover all its layers.

I was a part of this project form the very beginning and i have always enjoyed reading it. the reader gets thrown in the dark with al these characters that know nothing, and i fin dit creates a type of bond with them. And as the story gradually develops, you get to know the world and the cast at the same tempo as our main (rat)man. The fact that i know nothing sucks me into the story and makes me want to read more, but, at the same time, it think it represents the greatest challenge of this type of story. Sometimes it feels like things appear out of thin air for convenience, i might have also missed the foreshadowing, but thats how it felt for me.
Because i read this story from the very beginning i can tell you that the writer has drastically developed. He rewrote the first (i believe 12) chapters and it became a lot better, that quality was kept up in the second part of the story. So good job on that.
At last the story felt really original and fresh to me, and it was paced nicely IMO.
I really enjoyed reading this story, and if youre in the mood to become part of a tribe and discover the world (and their own minds) with them, i can recommend this story to you!
    Keep writing!
