The Quest for High School Mathletic Glory

Volume 1 (Ch1-34, and Sidequests 1-2): Geneviève, a junior in a rural southwest Louisiana high school, quietly lived her high schooler life until the unexpected victory at the state calculus championship propels her to the forefront. On the eve of the national championship, her school, and then her town got behind her team while, with the growing popularity of her mathletics team, the stress of college admissions as well as of competitive pressure weigh down on her.

Volume 2 (Ch35-67): Imélie, a former top female collegiate quiz bowler, now finds herself longing for her undergraduate days as she works as a software engineer; she is given the opportunity to relive her quiz bowl glory days when offered a promotion at work, by acting as a player-coach on her old collegiate team, the Tulane Green Wave. Her drive to rebuild the Green Wave's quiz bowl program at any cost forces her to face her inner demons as well as her own past, while, as the Green Wave's season shows sign of promise under her leadership, her players are pushed to the edge.

Volume 3 (Chapter 68-): Patricia is introduced to ChGK (Chto, gde, kogda), a Russian intellectual game, before she started college, initially disliking the game. Five years later, upon returning home to Kansas, she swallows her pride since she feels voids in her personal life and starts playing ChGK again in an attempt to fill them. Little does she know that she embarks on a journey that vaults Kansas into the very heart of the American ChGK world.
