The story begins in the heart of the Kingdom of Veloria, a kingdom that has enjoyed a long period of peace under the rule of King Aric and Queen Elara. But beneath the tranquility, there is an ever-growing sense of unease. In the distance, unknown forces lurk, and the elemental civilizations of Crystal, Water, Nature, and Sky hold their own secrets.

The chapter opens with a quiet morning. Leonis, the young prince of Veloria, is watching his father train in the courtyard with his dragon, Ignis. His father, King Aric, is a warrior renowned for his strength, yet his movements are smooth and practiced, showing no sign of struggle. Leonis watches in awe, hiding in the shadows as not to be seen, for he has not yet begun his formal training.

As Aric commands Ignis with a mere gesture, the dragon launches a burst of fire that obliterates a series of training dummies. In that moment, Leonis is filled with both admiration and doubt. Can he ever live up to the legacy of his father? Does he truly belong to the lineage of a warrior king?

But Leonis’ day is not all about combat and training. He is also deeply bonded with his mother, Queen Elara, who has the rare ability to control ice. After the training, Leonis returns to the palace, where he helps his mother make ice cream. It’s a simple task, but it brings him immense joy. Queen Elara, as a reward, gives him a small toy dragon that she freezes in a block of ice, which quickly thaws in Leonis' warm hands.

The royal family gathers for dinner later that evening, joined by Harrison, the king's best friend and trusted advisor. The conversation, however, takes a dark turn when King Aric speaks of mysterious attacks on nearby villages. Five villages have been destroyed, with no sign of the enemy. There is an ominous feeling in the air as they discuss the possibility that Veloria may be the next target. The king's gaze hardens as he senses something is deeply wrong.

Then, just as they finish their meal, a shadowy figure is seen in the distance. King Aric’s eyes sharpen, and as he rises from the table, a portal opens beneath the figure, and they vanish without a trace. The room is left in a tense silence. The king, queen, and Harrison know that something terrible is coming, and preparations must be made.
