His talent has become the bane of his existence, making him a target of the religious Silver Order. Driven by his insatiable curiosity fueled by his talent, Sirius learns secrets about magic, the church didn't want him to know. This sends him on an adventure across the whole continent in an attempt to return stronger and uproot the Order's oppression! He just needs to become stronger... And for that he needsknowledge, and lots of it. But if it is so hard to come by, how can one persevere in this cruel world? The question should be,what price is one willing to pay for the knowledge.
What to expect:- Western-style fantasy- No cultivation/Wuxia/Xianxia- Not LitRPG- No (or little to no) romance, hence no harem- Hard magic, knowledge and techniques make the mage powerful, not items

- GranatenopiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I rarely review any novels at all, bit if they're really good, then it's worth it.
It is a nicely written story with a good degree of character development.
I personally have a pretty big aversion to anything even borderline religious, something I imagine has turned some people off of this story, but I promise, as it looks right now, it is getting better, so I am glad I didn't drop it (Edit: I was right). - Antyl3214Royal Road★★★★ 4.0The story is not bad, the grammar is good and has several good aspects, even the silver order is a good conflict counterpoint for the protagonist, but the evolution of the story has bothered me, given the protagonist's challenges and his situation, the protagonist does not demonstrate a real understanding of his situation and does not present a real plan of confrontation or a resolution of the protagonist himself about the priest's revelations to him or his objectives regarding these revelations, the protagonist lacks pretension, and the protagonist seems to already be old enough to reach these conclusions, in these moments having a transmigrated protagonist is good, he would have already defined some objectives and sought to achieve them.
- EddieMRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5I looked at the reviews already posted and have to disagree somewhat. While the premise of the story is good and I really like the idea of an evil church being the antagonist, the grammar is bad enough often enough that I keep getting jerked out of the story. Sometimes words necessary for a complete sentence are missing. And maybe it's a culture thing but I can't get used to a grown man calling a teenage boy "my dear". It just doesn't feel right to me. Give it a try. Maybe you'll like it better than me. Good luck to the author tho.
