The Price of Hubris

November 1812. The Grande Armée is in full retreat, swallowed by the endless Russian winter. A small group of French cavalrymen, cut off from the main column after a desperate skirmish, march through the frozen wasteland in search of salvation.

But the snow offers no mercy. The cold tightens its grip, hunger gnaws at their minds, and something unseen moves in the blizzard, just beyond sight.

For Sub-lieutenant Louis Fournier, the road ahead is a nightmare of death, madness, and whispers on the wind. The company battles the harsh conditions of the Russian winter, desperate to complete their mission, and make it back home.
