Description

Summoned from his unjust suffering in the mundane world, Spike finds himself before Arceus, who opts to send him to the world of Pokemon with the request to assist in maintaining the world's harmony. Afterwards, Arceus sends him off with the egg of a Riolu who will be his partner along the journey. Next thing he knows, he wakes up with a headache in the body of a five-year-old boy in the middle of a forest in Hoenn. Thus begins the journey of a Pokemon Ranger who will come to be feared by those hiding in the dark of the Pokemon world.____________________________________________________________Author Note:Please keep in mind that this is an AU (Alternate Universe). I will be taking aspects of the Pokemon world that I find to be the most fun and enjoyable and editing some things as I see fit. The world will contain some elements and characters from the anime, manga, and games, but it will also have some original characters and a mostly original storyline. It will not go fully grimdark like some gritty parts of the manga or some more realistic fanfictions, but also won’t be all sunshine and roses like the games.Overall, I do want to keep the story on the lighthearted side, but there will be some more serious plots as well. About 90% taking the story seriously and 10% wish fulfillment, I suppose.

Note: I am also posting this fanfiction on Webnovel. No difference on release times for chapters.Also, as an update because of the people who messaged me about the multiple transmigrators, the existence of other transmigrators won't have much, if any, affect on the main plotline (or the harem if that's what those people are worried about). There will only be a handful of interactions with a few of the transmigrators during some of the more dangerous scenarios I have planned. I don't expect this to change anybody's mind, but thought it was worth mentioning. Fun story, cool concept. Becoming a Ranger instead of the typical Trainer. The writing prose is pretty good for a fic, at least much better than many others I've seen, and the interactions between the characters are well written. The group of characters present is also relatively small for now, which gives the reader time to get a feel for all of them. Most importantly, the MC himself does not come across as annoying or super dumb, which is always a big plus.
Small spoilers below to give you an idea of what the story has in store so far:
MC possesses a male Lucario and a female Ralts. Flannery seems to be shaping up as the Main Love Interest. Starts out in Hoenn region as a kid the same age as Flannery. MC can use limited aura for pokemon empathy and body reinforcement.

A very enjoyable read with pretty good grammar and little to no typos. Hopefully this lasts and develops long enough to stand tall with the Borne of Caution, The Natural, Pokemon Animus, and a few others at the very top of Pokemon fics in this site. I really want you to succeed.
I really like the fact that he acts like a kid here. I find it more interesting when isekai MCs act their age. Sure he's a bit mature for his age and he likes to ogle the ladies but for the most part he acts like a kid. Also like the fact that he starts off with a family. It's a breath of fresh air from most of the fics just having the MC pop up in the middle of nowhere with no paperwork.
So far in the story we haven't really focused on the Pokemon much. We don't get to see any grooming, diets, sleep habits, little quirks, and hobbies, etc. of his current team. We don't know if his team members like to sing, if they have a favorite tv show, or if they like to pull pranks. So far the story has mostly centered around the MC and his development. The mons have mostly been accessories so far. All we know so far is that
Ares is serious and likes to battle, and doesn't like when others get touchy and Aria is shy and anxious and likes to be carried around and hugged.
That's kind of it. But they have only been here for a few chapters so there's a lot of time for us to get to know them. I'm just a little nervous that they're not gonna get enough focus.

Good writing too Im really Liking this.Has a enjoyable story with a new point of view is refreshing. Well written almost no typos and good character intractions. Enjoyable story set in the Pokemon universe, still early into it's development. Not just some other catch em all trainer fic with the mc sending all their pokemon to professor to deal with. He also has a unique view that respects pokemon's autonomy and a view of nature over nurture for the wild. Love the use of aura and the first real battle. Looking forward to the characters progression and development.
