Mount Buxiu, the nest of the last Phoenix disappeared from the face of the earth and a strange lake appeared in its place. The four guardian sects sealed the Blood Lake to prevent the issue from alleviating any further. But the ancient prophecy spoke of a forbidden power that would help one achieve immortality but not without a price to pay. Two decades later, the infamous melody of sorrow makes its appearance, followed by a series of strange events. Two young men find themselves caught amidst all the chaos and confusion, the lies and deceit that shatters everything that they had once believed in.
