After twenty long, arduous years, the lich king has finally been killed and defeated.

Months later, Kalvin, a trained medium, arrives at an infamous island with more wards than there are stars in the sky. He's been assigned to speak with the dead necromancer in order to glean more information about how exactly he became so powerful. And more importantly...find out if there are any soulstones still out there: fragments of the lich's soul that may possibly allow him to break free from the gates of death.

But all the lich does is insist that the medium would have walked the same path in his shoes and turned out just like him. So when he brings him back in time and Kalvin awakens in the necromancer's infant body, he must spend the next forty years proving him wrong.
