After losing her mother and moving to a new town with her father and brother, Bríd is just trying to re-start a normal life and fit in. However, after being injured in a car accident, she discovers she has power to shape shift, an ability that leaves her confused and seeking answers.

Between dealing with friends in school, being viciously bullied by her step-brother, and trying to control her new-found abilities, she becomes wrapped up in a string of mysterious disappearances in town that lead to more and more questions. What is she? How does she have powers? And who else out there might be looking for her?
