Description
A jellyfish in space. Also, cats, tea, AI with blue boxes, mech-bunny suit, giant duck, ape space pirates and more.
I promise two of these things are true: melodrama, self-insert protagonist and a complete three-part story.

- Banner CaygeonRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What a fun little story that has all the makings of a larger adventure. The characters (creatures), and dialogue are all really enjoyable and imaginative. If you're looking for a quick burst of joy, give this jellyfish captain story a go!
But don't let the invertebrate captaining a ship fool you, there's some serious writing talent here. - BellwetherRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A wacky sci-fi story with a kind of feeling one could get from one of the ageless series.
"The tea was delivered to the Waterworld of Kanton. Delanmyidis returned home and off on another adventure."
Epic when needed, with a dose of lightheartedness and adventure, I recommend this story for those with interest in space, tea and jellyfish. - HWPerfidyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Story: This story is really fun. It’s the sort of nonsensical, chaotic fun that puts you in a good mood and makes you hunger for more.
We follow the story of Delanmyidis and their adventures across the galaxy. They meet space pirates and encounter friends along the way. What will happen to Captain Delanmyidis next? Find out next time on—
Unrelated but I saw jellyfish and immediately thought that this was under the sea. Then I saw pirates and thought mmm yeah definitely under the sea. Then I saw the jellyfish eating biscuits and wondered how they were doing that without getting soggy biscuits. Then I realised that it was happening in space.
Style: The style is fairly simple, and comes with a cheeky narrator. It complements the light hearted and chaotic nature of the story perfectly. Surprising amount of foreshadowing and structure for something so chaotic.
Character: Characters are fun and chaotic, just like the story. All lovers of tea, as they should be.
Grammar: A paragraph long sentence, a few typos, but otherwise, no problems I could see.
Overall: A really fun read! Don’t take it too seriously, go along for the ride, and you’ll find yourself really enjoying it. - JEPayneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0What a ride this story is! The pacing feels break neck as our heroic jellyfish bounces around on his trucker's route, dealing with violent ape pirates and cat-nappers, all so he can transport the most precious cargo of all: tea.
Style - the style is great! The irreverent humour and pacing perfectly complements the type of story being told. Sometimes I found spots a little difficult to follow, but they were few and far between.
Story - the story has surprising depth. What feels almost like an absurdist comedy on the surface actually has a surprising amount of foreshadowing and narrative structure, which has you laughing along through most of it, and going 'ooooh I see what they did there' at others. The most important question though is, as always, was the story enjoyable? The answer: yes!
Grammar - a few minor issues but very few and not enough to detract from the story
Character - it's actually extremely impressive how much characterisation the author has crammed into this story. The ship's crew, the villains and the supporting cast all felt vibrant and unique, partly due to how original they all are. And by original, I mean I never could have thought up any of them in a million years!
This was a great, fun read - Inkwell RabbitRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I normally use my reviews as critiques instead of info on the story to the reader, but I can't judge this story on story telling or story structure merits. It would miss the point of Tea's creation.
This is parody of all those space operas out there that aren't self aware and tongue and cheek. Flash Gordan and Spaceballs instead of Star Wars and Captain harlock.
Its outragious and absurd and just when you are settling into its weirdness it throws more zaniness in your face!
Read it if you need some humor in your day and want a wild ride from start to finish
I marked it half a star off cause its so out there, it was really hard to stick with the story. - K.AsvoriaRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5The story is full of action, although action wasn't selected as a tag.
The style is readable, descriptive and well writen. Although there are some cases that might confuse me. For example, in first chapter, the battle between Creater and Koda, might be a little "difficult" to read. Mainly due to both were described as apes, and both uses the same robot ants. The author did clearly distinguished them though, but I still need to re-read the paragraphs in order to get the picture of what's going on.
More about the writing style, is that the narrator sometimes read as the protagonist own thoughts. Mixture of narrative style did make the read enjoyable.
Nothing glarring on the grammar, only some minor errors. It doesn't do much impact on the overall reading experience.
The story is pretty universal, a fun comedy in general. Suitable for younger readers. Light and easy, and with exagerated antagonist. Something can be made into a show on CN or Nick.
Characters are all interesting, but Fussypants' description only narrated in 2nd chapter, which feels a little late. But for a short story, perhaps it is well placed. I imagined Fussypants as a normal cat in chapter one. Only to realise the character is a unique creature beyond a normal cat later.
As for the other characters, they are all fun and with their own unique ways. Delanmyidis has that posh tea-drinking biscuit-chewing British vibe, and they are all well-described.
As overall, if you love a light fun read, spend a couple of minute on this fun comedy. Or may be you may read this to your kids. 😆
