English Lady, Elizabeth Summers never intended to be a hero, not a super-hero anyway. She was proud of her job as a nurse, but when WW2 started she stepped up, and was assigned to care for the men trying to become more to serve their country. When an accident has her injected with a super serum she is one of the few it activates in, and soon she is stepping up fighting the Nazis and Japanese as Solaris, the Original Girl, The Major of Mercy, the Bombproof Bombshell.

After the war she continued to work for peace, and the betterment of people. Unfortunately she ended up on the wrong side of Senator McCarthy and his House of Unamerican Affairs, and ended up trapped held in stasis under New York City.

Now active for the first time in 73 years, Solaris has to morn the people that time left behind, while setting into a new modern world, with new friends, new supers, new enemies, and an old outlook that it is the duty of the Super-community to be better, and through their actions inspire others to be better.
