- MenilikRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really love his stories. The theme of doing a bunch of different monster stories is awesome. I could see this being collated into a book of short stories.
Most of the stories start off slow. A bit of exposition. TBH this was the first one I read and I almost stopped reading (because of the exposition). But once it got past that it was so good. And I wished it didn't end.
I've looked at a few of his stories. The author tends to start the stories properly a few paragraphs in. I think he could skip the exposition parts of the stories and just start in the action (he tends to cover the exposition parts again anyways).
Again, I wish it didn't end. I'd love to explore this character over a few time periods (not just in the beginning and as an old man). Keep up the short stories mate. - BellwetherRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0A short story that reminds of classic horror ooze stories, which could be found in books written in the last century.
