Vincent was relaxing in physics class when he and his entire class were teleported into a vast other world, where everybody called themselves cultivators and fought with magical martial arts.

Vincent gained power over plants, allowing him to turn seeds into all sorts of vegetation. He ventures out into this new world filled with phony cultivators to set the record straight. He can make one declaration with absolute certainty, “I am the only real cultivator!”

You will see an overpowered main character with a cheat ability. You will see "comedy". You will see a normal guy who gets teleported to another world. You will see classic wuxia elements like Qi cultivation and alchemy. You will see grammar from a native speaker. You won't see a ruthless MC who kills everybody that offends him. You won't see harem.

It's essentially everything I like about light novels, web novels, and wuxia all shoved into one story.

If you’d like an unholy mix of overpowered main character, wuxia, fantasy, and LitRPG - give The Only Real Cultivator a try.

6/1/2020 edit: Some bloke plagerized this book and put it on amazon, titling it "Ancient Cultivator." tbh I'm kinda flattered that I'm worth plagerizing. Still, don't buy the book. The whole thing's available here for free.

If you were to be picky and wanted to compare this story with every single other story in the world and then rate it then I’m sure it would be a 1-2.5...
but I wasn’t looking for a world renowned best seller in the first place...
what I wanted was a casual op mc story with no absolutely obvious plot holes and I got one here!!!

Revised version
Style is one of the stronger points, with a consistent and good layout. Grammar is overall good, but a bit from a perfect score. Story isn't anything grand, but the setting and worldbuilding is excellent. The protagonist is fleshed out, though does have some inconsistencies every now and then. I believe side characters will develop more, as it's still a bit early.

The first half of the book is a fun romp with great plant building and character development. A great adventure that had you pulling for the heroic mc. The latter half turns dark and the mc makes continuously more questionable decisions and is unquestionably a passive villain. The change to the mc's attitude is not explained or show in any satisfactory manner.

The world building great yes a little ruff around the edges but great, the side characters are good nothing to not like yet, the Mc though is another story.
I'm annoyed at him not using his smarts or past knowledge to make anything it's like he transformed into a kindergartener and is trying to mash the square piece into the circle hole, like he can control plants and make them explode, combine, and code them to have set actions, etc and he does the barest minimum with anything, like for defence he has one plant that he actively uses, and for attack one singular plant again and he doesn't see the downside of that at all, like he has a GODLY power and uses it to pick his nose basically
like I swear in most of the these novels the Mc can be killed by just one competent person that lies well, all the spy needs to do is say "iM SwOrRy pLeAsE fOrGivE mE🥺" and once he believes it cause he's 100% sure no one lies for some reason, him and the spy hug it out and the spy shanks the Mc in the head then shanks him in the heart for good measure that's it, and there's 40+ novels done the Mc loses.
Maybe we can afford an mc that actually takes actions a normal person would do and realizes that most of human history is brutally butchering each other and not some unrealistic version of ghandi that thinks the world is sunshine and rainbows.

Don’t bother. The MC is the most naive, idiotic person ever written. She tried to crack open my brain? Poor woman, I will leave her with handcuffs I known she can get out of and go have fun in the city. Oh! I’m not a fucking idiot, I told her to stay there! No way an enemy spy wouldn’t follow the direction of her pseudo-jailor.
The natives of this ruthless cultivator world? If they are to be the allies of our MC, they’ve prior to their encounter been infected by the idealistic modern morales syndrom. Sect master, looks, a spy! ‘Oh, we can’t even think about killing her, how about you take care of her, moronic MC?’
