- LilleneRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is Caleb's sixth life; the events mentioned on the Holy Island of Velence are from his first. When he dies, he returns to a fateful day as a child. This time, he has a plan, and based on everything he knows it should work. Unfortunately, he's about to find out just how much he didn't know to even try to learn about the situation...
Caleb's an interesting character. He's been badly hurt by his past, but he's coping and trying to fix things. He's far more realistic than many loop protagonists; he's still human and able to make new connections and care, but it's clear that the burden of being the only one who remembers weighs on him heavily.
The other characters are clear people with their own motivations.
Chapter 200 is the end of Book One. - MasterthetimeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I am not great at reviews and in most situations wouldn't create one as I understand I won't be able to convey my points well, but I have been reading the story for about 9 days, and only realized now that there are still no reviews for the story, I was very surprised as not only is this story updating at a pretty crazy rate, but the story is interesting, the characters feel real, and the story feels much better written than a good portion of stories I have read on the website, so I am hoping that by making a review more people see the story and give it a shot, as I think it is pretty great, and don't want the author to become discouraged and drop it
TL;DR
The story is really good. Give it a shot. - ThiodexalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great story, read the first book over the course of a couple of days
Interesting believeable characters and great plot.
The writing flows easily, aside from the occasional missing/wrong word or misspelled name
The main current annoyance is the cliffhanger ending, hopefully wont have to wait too long to read the resolution
Looking forward to book 2 - PaulTBRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0This is a decent story with reasonably solid characters.
The author isn't a native speaker of English. They do a damn sight better at English than I could at any other language, so I can't really fault them for that, but if grammar mistakes bug you then this isn't the story for you. They do take suggestions for corrections and generally act on them.
One thing I dislike is all the . It isn't always clear who is thinking, and often seems redundant.
