The Old Knight and the Maiden

Sir Albranth, the finest knight in Flament, was forced to retire due to old age, and he decided to reconnect with his estranged daughter. But, his daughter, alongside her husband, were killed before he could find her, and he was devastated with grief, thinking that his daughter died hating him. But soon, he learned that his granddaughter survived. Hoping to make amends as well as to raise the only family that he had left, Albranth went to adopt his granddaughter, Fiona.
