The Officemancer: I Died on a No-Meeting Wednesday [A Reincarnation Isekai / LitRPG with Base Building Elements]

Description

I equipped my Orange Wet-Floor Cone of Death and stared at the approaching monster…

After I got fired (don’t ask) and died (please don’t ask). I found myself in the Great Potential, in a brutal program that explosively kills off people. Yes, I need to find a job, OK? Still, I get to travel to other worlds, level up, and upgrade items. It’s not like I could do any magic in my first life.

Have I mentioned that my stress ball started talking to me? Or that the gods of this place don’t quite seem to know what’s going on? Or that I might be a freaking character in some author’s book?

Come on, I’ll answer your questions on the way. We’ve got to go find a core.

What to expect:

- Comedy. And gore. And tragedy. And comedy.

- Creamy LitRPG. Very light on stats.

- An “Average Joe” MC. In fact, his name’s Joe.

- Office tropes thrown into a new world. He doesn’t spend time in offices. Much.

- Not everyone’s human.

- Superpowers. Still, MC has to use his brain.

- Explorations of a fun universe, brutal survival, mysteries.

- After the initial drop, chapters on weekdays.

- No meetings on Wednesdays!

- The full story arc is written. If people like it, I'll continue.

- Chapters are 2k-3k words on average.

I'm on chapter 7 and really enjoying it so far.
Very relatable character and a flowing style make this a smooth read.
I've been off LitRPG for a while and coming back to this has really warmed be back to it.
One of the things that I think is imperative to this genre is to not be too serious about it, otherwise it becomes really tedious. This strikes a really good balance!
    Keep it up Deran!

11 chapters in, and I'm completely hooked! I'm eager to see how the company evolves, what roles these characters will take on, and how their journey unfolds.
It's a great blend of RPG elements and office dynamics, making for a unique and engaging story. The mix of building a business while battling monsters keeps things exciting!

I really enjoyed the story and especially connected with the beginning, which feels like it could have been quite a few of my Wednesdays. Squeezimodo is definitely a fun part of the story!
The pace of the story is good and rapid, which I really love in general, and the writing really draws you in.
    Overall highly recommended!

I started reading this because of the title, and have enjoyed it so far. As promised, there is humor, gore, obstacles to overcome, and a little more gore. The world is different from others I have read about, and I'm enjoying learning about it along with the MC.  So, if you've ever worked in an office environment I think you'll enjoy this, hopefully as much as I have.
