- RznRoyal Road★★★ 3.0The story here has a bunch of elements that are all competing for a small space. The details of the log take up a significant amount of the text for what is a rather limited effect. The contents of the log is pulling out a whole history which tries to convey everything to the reader that should already be largely understood by someone in the setting. This makes the piece difficult to actually read because it becomes largely an info dump in a short story. It is akin to starting a story about an expedition with the history of your people.
