Very nicely done city fantasy. The cast is mostly the same from the first book and the characters are steadily progressing. I can recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first book.

This is still some of the best urban fantasy I've ever read. I am seriously baffled as to how these books are not far more well known. This sequel feels more epic and insane than the first book, but less impactful in some other ways, like emotionally? Overall, not a bad sequel or change, still an amazing book in my opinion!

I was intending to review this for a while but I forgot until now. Regardless, this story is really fun to read and even more fun if you read the prequel (though not a necessity, the prequel is also really fun so you should go read that too).
The story is extremely high quality as it is enriched with lots of humor, action, adventure, suspense, and deathly horror (and maybe future romance?).
I honestly have no idea why this story hasn’t gained a large following already, but maybe that’s a good thing. Us few people can hoard this gem lol.

This not my style but i can see others can love it. Great pun game !
As the Urban Dictionnary states : "Puns are a dark art, much like necromancy. Raising the dead will get you killed. Raising a pun with your killer sense of humor will get you killed"
