The Moon's Silent Wail

The Arvelian Empire is in its last days. The promise of political and social reform is in the air, the conflict of the continent's great powers has not been sufficiently deterred by intertwining commercial and banking interests across the continent, an inept ruling family, a new religious fervor among the peasantry, and the extinction of their most precious resource, all point to catastrophic collapse. When things couldn't get worse, a mysterious planetary event plunged the world into an inescapable chaos. It began when a dead god collided with a moon.
