Now, the overall score is a bit lower than what I've posted, but in all honesty, the story isn't too bad. I marked it 3.5 rounded up.
There are a few problems with the punctuation and the lack thereof but otherwise the story flows smoothly and it even has what I would consider semi-good pacing!
Ah, but the positives have to be followed by negatives. The way the main character reacts is reminiscent of the 8th grade syndrome, but lackluster and the kid is in university. Annoying, but not the end all be all.
Now for something positive to end this review on; despite all of the negatives described above, it's still easy to read and follow the fights. The system is intriguing (in the same way all litrpg systems are) and while the concept of the story has been done before, it has its unique parts. A rough gem that has the potential to shine.
Now, if you came looking for copper but deep inside hoped to find gold, tough luck. But you will find silver, and silver is better than copper.
All in all, when the story isn't plagued by silly mistakes and rushed writing, it's very enjoyable.
