- ScarhandRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Quartz is an affable if dim fellow who has been betrayed, separated from his friends and coerced into abandoning his low risk low responsibility lifestyle into becoming a tower climber. He is given an irritable trainer and a summons that literally eats him for lunch. Honestly Quartz seems to be in a bad place. Good thing none of this seems to dent his good nature. There are the requisite hints at Quartz's mysterious origins and a nice, steady increase in his power. Our hero's mental issues assuredly have an origin and seem to be slowly eroding as he gains power and competency. I'm intrigued by the mystery and looking forward to how the author progresses the story. Not sure how much this counts but I liked what I've read enough to write my first review on RR. You should read this story.
