The Misadventures of Ray in an Alternate Universe

Ray, a strategy game nut, self-proclaimed master of the genre was offered a chance to play in a new VRMMO game known as War of Aetheria. A game based around grand war in an RPG setting, with the laws of war being changed through magic and different races. Along the way Ray will gather companions, get hurt, abused and get cursed by gods. Why does he suffer so much? The author likes it, don't ask me. Authors Note: I like it. Will Ray be able to survive?
