- GiantsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I really would reccomend this story. Yes, there are the reccuring themes ofthis book that are in a lot of other books here in Royal Road, but it does not take away the the quality of this story. The story is about a man who is reincarnated into a fantasy world with an rpg-like system. There are other stories similar to this, but if you want to read a story like that, read this one. It has a really clear and simple flow to it. The story only has a couple chapters, but so far it has shown to be a prime candidate for one of the great books of Royal Road. I reccomend this book, amd the only flaw I can find is that the characters are not that delved into, and I can not really feel much from them. I can say that it will probably be cleared up later as it is the beginning of the story. Author if you read this, please keep working.
- XintestRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Hi dude
I hope my review helps you because I really liked the fiction you're writing.
There are a lot of good points to improve:
the style is good, you are swiftly using language to express the acts and I liked it.
the stats balance is good, it is a bit confusing not seeing stats after a lot of changes so I hope you perceive when stats are needed to be shown.
the world build is a bit vague and not too clear but I think that we are still in the first 10ch so it's ok.
the grammars can easily be fixed, just use grammarly[grammarly(dot)com] it is free, easy to use, and could level up your writing without mistakes.
I wish it was a male and not the gender bender thing, but that's my preference.
I encourage you to continue and keep it up, you have my sincere thanks for this great novel. - PettyOfficerRoyal Road★★★ 3.0For the most part, the characters are endearing and kind. But this doesn't make sense considering the character being a ruthless mercenary suddenly becoming completely girlish at a small effort or even why they have the need to maintain a mundane relationship in such a bratty manner.
Add to the mix a certain batch of key phrases are repeated every chapter, in each chapter and we have a more stale element to the mix. The story progresses slowly while being utterly cliche and the grammar's bad, with some bits here and there being intelligible. Stealing from a comment on one of the chapters, there's a problem with using English tenses where the story is in the past when it should be in the present. The details get sketchy and are somewhat bland in my opinion.
I bet this is a language barrier holding down the author's thoughts as they do not know English as their native language. For now, the fiction is pretty bare-bones and needs to be fleshed out in descriptions. It's okay for a random read when you're bored, I guess.
