- Mech_WizardRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5If you like the Infinity Train animated series, you will probably enjoy this short piece of fiction. It's the first time I see this kind of idea on a work in Royal Road.
However, while the idea is quite good, the execution is not very good. In my opinion, it suffers from excessively using the past tense and most of every sentence starts with “I did this, I did that, etc.”, which makes it hard to really immerse myself in it. It also suffers from the occasional typo.
Overall, nice, enjoyable, but flawed. If you are not a native English speaker or just don't care much for that kind of stuff, you will probably be able to ignore its flaws. - RznRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5This story is one about finding yourself in a strange place unexpectedly, in this case, an elevator that connects to everywhere. It is a pretty basic plot and it relies on an awkward vibe to really connect to the reader, but it doesn't exactly come across strong because the prose lacks the emotional punch. Perhaps it is because our MC is able to navigate the situation easily enough. It is good, but it ends just as the feeling is starting to set in.
