The Long Walk Home

A long time ago war raged across the homeworld. A very lucky few managed to escape the carnage and flee across the stars to a place of safety. After more than 300 years a vessel from this far flung refuge has returned from the dark to re-establish contact with their long lost home. What will they find? A green and pleasant land of harmony? Or a burning wasteland of dust and howling winds?

This is my first attempt at writing fiction. I really hope you all enjoy and I'm happy to listen to any advice, suggestions and constructive criticism. Updates will be once a week but might be a bit erratic due to work/uni/life in general.
