- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The introduction to the short story was a bit awkward, given that this is supposed to be a journal entry and yet it dumps so much backstory and exposition that it might as well have been portrayed as a survivor's oral account instead of a written one. This makes for a disjointed piece where the premise is at odds with the style. Once you get past the initial accounting of the situation, the writing is actually quite good. I would have wanted more, but this is a one shot after all.
