So, a read that is worth it if you enjoy the genre. Heck, there is enough fun stuff going on that it is worth a gander either way.  I hope the author continues the work.
Style is fun and interesting.  A little nonstandard, which I don't know if it's intentional yet. Not that it can't work but something nonstandard can be good, it just needs to be done very well.
Grammar is definitely the weakest point. Not unbearable but there are a number of improvements to be made. Most can be fixed with practice over time in the long term though. Plus, maybe have someone proofread them for a bit.
Story... It feels like the author needs to finish writing the book, then go back through and smooth out a few things. A lot of nice mini-plots going on and an episodic narrative style can work for this genre. Still, it seems to make a big jump in the middle that seems disconnected.
As for the character score, it is high because I like the characters. The main character in particular feels like a person even if he is weird. A lot of characters on this site feel too self insert. Still, it will take more chapters to see if there is enough growth to keep that high rating.
