- 1Royal Road★★★★★ 4.5This was quite a unique prologue, written in the form of a letter from a soldier to his love. I believe I got a relatively good idea of the world without any info dump, it seems like a medieval setting. Overall, this was a nice story, although it seems pretty tragic already. I would love to read more of this story if it was written.
- RznRoyal Road★★ 2.0This prologue consists of just a letter from her husband, Robert, that lays out a war situation. The piece is simple and has an interesting way of setting the stage. Since there is really nothing more for me to comment on, I'll just have to say that the style of the letter is interesting given that this is generally not the type of letter a wife would want to read. The benefit of the reader is obvious here.
