While there’s some rare moments of confusion with grammar or typos, this perfectly itches my love for jaded MCs in a VRMMO setting. The unique race and ability of the MC, his creativity in his actions and his goals and big aspirations are what make me look forward to when this comes off hiatus.

Always wanted to see more of a "business" side of these kind of stories. Good job man, keep up the good work..... Just continue doing what your best at man. Don't let people get you down with bad reviews and shit. You have a good thing going on here man. Don't let them take that away from you.

I've read up to chapter 19, so far this is one the best books I've read in a while. The dialogue is humourous a bit dark but its constructed very well. I haven't really liked stories of characters with wibbly morals but this has changed my mind. Can't wait to see what Axel and the gang do next.

I'm relatively new to reviewing and royal road as a whole, but this story stuck me as really good, so I'm going to give it a try.
The plot itself feels real and gritty. Although the MC is smart, that doesn't make everything go his way. We don't know a lot about the rules of the VR he's in yet, but the MC doesn't know everything about it either, and I trust we'll both learn in time in a natural way instead of a world building dump. The author is pretty skilled at avoiding those.
As for character, the MC is clever, needs money, and acts consistently in a way that shows off both. As a big fan of really smart characters, I like the guy. He acts like a jerk sometimes and cusses too much in my opinion, but that's just a part of how the author built him and it fits with his backstory.
The only reason I rated the Grammar 4.5/5 instead of 5/5  is because of a few word choice errors I spotted (man instead of men, etc., just small stuff really). Because those things really stick out to me, I can't in good conscience give the author 5/5 even though it really doesn't affect the story or reading quality for most people.

.... Or that's what it seemed to be aiming at. Story's getting dropped because some people spammed 0.5 stars on it which is a real shame.
I honestly don't get why the interest in VRmmo settings for stories have been dying out lately when there's still good shit being written in that setting.
The character interaction between the two main male leads gives me a similar vibes to Vito and Joe from Mafia 2 which is always nice to see.
I guess using deep dive VR to make money to pay off debts is sorta cliche at this point but honestly, what other motivator is there to play the game other than wide eyed optimism?

I've read upto chapter 19 so far, but this is already one of the best books I've read in a long time. The conversation is witty and a little gloomy, but it's well-crafted. I've never been a fan of stories with questionable morals, but this has changed my mind. I'm looking forward to seeing what Axel as well as the group of friends do next.

I’m fucking terrible at talking about the details of books and what they do right or wrong so I’ll just say this. I love it, aside from some spelling errors it’s amazing and I hope to whatever listens that the author continues and ignores all the dick heads leaving 0.5 star reviews for shits and giggles

As the author mentioned on his last chapter, he is most likely dropping this very promising story because of troll/fake reviews, so i felt compelled to plead my case for the quality of it and why i loved reading it up to the very end.
I really just discovered VRMMO-stories for me and in this case i really like the world-building inculding a virtual reality with serious economic implications in the real world. Regarding grammar i cannot judge properly as i'm no native speaker. The MC has had a really rough life so far, which turned him into a cynical and mistrusting person with maaaybe some anger issues, but thats understandable. As mentioned in my title i really like that it's a bit more on the darker side of stories, with crime, corruption but nothing too terrible, gory or haunting. I genuinely enjoyed it and really hoped for more, reading about the MC resolving his real-world-issues with virtual-world-solutions. All the best.

I came here from the author's other novel, the Trashmancer. This novel has really blown it out of the park for me. It's a fresh new take on the VRMMO genre in which the player's goal is literally only to make money. I hate spoilers and am sure many of you do too so I'll make this prompt. The grammar is top-notch with little to no mistakes. The world-building is going at a pace ready for any reader. The character development makes me want more from this novel and the story so far already has me intrigued. If you want any of the above read then what are you waiting for? Read the novel already! Also note that this review was written quite early in the novel (ch. 5) but I am already loving it and can't wait for more.

The style is unique for this genre and so far is an in between an advanced ai world and a dumb ai world it's just like they're real people and some times you forget it's a game.
The story so far is really good and I'm hoping for more but with the bad reviews and crappy comments, I feel for the author I hope you can pull through.
The grammar is decent not perfect but what can you do and it's only once every 5-10 chapters so not story ruining.
The MC is amazing and unique especially with all the hardship he's gone through and I really hope the novel continues and his skills can advanced.
also the side characters are wonderfully done and I hope they stay as flushed out as they are and can develop to be something more amazing.

My god stop dissing on this authors novel just cause it's not your genre, like they have a specific search engine for a reason so people specifically like you can go off in a corner and cry yourself to sleep with your loneliness or instead get off this site you loner and go on Twitter if you want to be a troll
