ANNOUNCEMENT
I have decided to discontinue the story because of how much of a mess it is. This was the first time I had written a story so I had no clue how it was going to go, but I've learned a lot from it. I'll probably try writing once more but now that I've entered university, I barely have any time left. Thanks to those who noticed my story and I'm sorry to leave it unfinished and discontinued.
See you guys next time.

- Stark O'ConnorRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The story is somewhat simplistic but the attention to detail that goes into every chapter is quite impressive. The characters are lively and quite unique, all of them having a very distinct way of talking and behaving very differently. All the characters are memorable and fun to read about and I'm always excited to read more of who each of them are. I'm looking forward to future chapters and how the characters will develop, keep it up Loetrip :D
- TheCAWRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0First off let me just say that the story is off to a great start. It is early but there is a lot of potential and the world is unfolding nicely.
Style- You are very descriptive in imagery without going too far on world building exposition. Not an easy feat to accomplish well done. There is one alternate POV section that is outlined and I think unneeded as the novel itself is 3rd person and we don't need to jump into a guards pov to convey the battle (though this may be subjective)
Story- Again hard to tell this early. The pacing is good and it seems gearing up towards good confrontation.
Grammar- perhaps one or two typos but beyond my reproach.
Character- A good job of balancing discovering characters without just info dumping. The interplay between the four is showing their unique sides and though early should prove even better in the future. I am not sure about side characters which may be a little less fleshed out but again so early hard to tell or really critique that.
All in all a good start, keep letting us discover the world bit by bit and I look forward to the next chapter. - FrustratedEgoRoyal Road★★★★ 3.5Okay. So I read it all and have some stuff to type out. We'll be balancing a fine line between professional feedback and drunken meandering - but here it goes. (Pro tip; I fail, woo!)
Currently released content isn't huge but a lot of work has clearly been put in by the author. The story and writing doesn't feel like something slapped down in a drunken fury (And I know all about typing in one of those) - which is important. Now, as of review there doesn't feel like a resolution point or major arc being solved. The story goes onward and I'm not sure if there's anything that makes me super happy or satisfied. This can be good, as I haven't reached a place to put the story down and wander off - but this is also due to how I take each chapter. I'm just not invested in the characters enough.
The story itself has a mildly interesting prologue despite it's length. This alone is unusual and worth noting. If it weren't for the prologue I wouldn't have tried the rest of the story. (If it weren't for my horse, I wouldn't have spent that year in college. - Lewis Black). There's a lot of interesting ideas in here that are almost passively mentioned. I found myself more interested in side characters that were briefly covered compared t the main guy who has almost no visible personality.
Perhaps part of it's the writing style choice. Third person is great for describing a scene but difficult for getting readers in touch with a personality. The author tries to overcome this with brief [inner thoughts] which are used rarely and weirdly. Still, I don't (And I've hinted at this before but lets outright state it) - I don't care about the characters. They have interesting details - awesome - but aren't important.
I do enjoy the relative attitude of these people involved. There's a sense of no nonsense people cutting past all the bullshit that really does come with the military (Or indeed, any government of more than five people). The author has a rough idea of how bureaucracy slows down
