Asterion’s first life had dragged on for far too long. From thevery first System prompt, Asterion was put through the wringer. He learned alien languages, mastered unknown magic, and fought monsters, men, and even a literal goddess. Watching his comrades fall one by one, Asterion faced the Dark Lady at the bitter end with a single thought:I quit. To guarantee it, he cast a self-destruction spell meant to take out both the Dark Lady and himself. So… why was he alive? He just wanted tofreaking rest. Why did shit keep happening to him? I’ve developed a new venomous plant just for you!” And in a deeper core of the Abyss, an ancient entity was slowly rumbling. Perhaps there was a reason he had been revived.
