Honestly this is one of the best xiania books I have read on RR. A perfect book to relax, mixing the perfect amount of comedy and slice of life while also maintaining a interesting plot. I am excited to see where this goes! Gives off strong Beware of Chicken vibes.

The grand dao of xianxia is pure and holy, how dare you use the inferior dao of satire to sully it's brilliance!?
    Ahem, ahem.
    Review:
It's a fun, lighthearted novel that decides to go in the direction of alchemy much like another rational xianxia fiction on this website.
I like xianxia. I also like beware of chicken (what a paradox). This is now another novel that I like. It's just starting out, but pretty fun so far.
MC is rational, characters are sketched out, and alchemy is interesting. By no means am I a man of science, but it's quite entertaining this way.

I was promised pseudo science not real science what the heck?! -5 times -1 stars >:(
This wuxia story is full of really fun, and quirky characters. Creating stupid and fun dynamics in between the sciencing, I really expect this to go far into pure chaos and sillyness next to the order of science and MAAATH!

    cultivation.
    science.
    alchemy.
    monster collection.
    Isekai.
If this story will get base building at some point, it will include 100% of the things I enjoy in stories lol
how is this not 50 words long?
    STILL?!?!
Oh boy. Do I look like an author to you?
Am I writing a novel or a review?
Do authors feel this preasure everytime they write?

I have followed this since the start.  It was noticable that the author was somewhat new to writing but over the course fo the chapters the quality has improved to the point that I am supporting them with a full 5 starts.  The characters, progression and simply the story are engaging and enjoyable.  Well worth following along.

To start with if you like cultivation stories but not the way the tropes are used you'll cerstinly love The Third Law of Cultivation uses them in a fresh and fun way.
The style is good certainly capable of five stars but I put four for the reason that while it's certainly meant to build slowly it does find itself dragging on longer than nescesary at times,
The story is exciting and builds to conflict and resolution perfectly with enough questions to keep you guessing but enough resolution to always feel like the world is expanding and changing in meaningful ways.
Grammar has no issues or at least any glaring issues, so as far as anyone reading on royal road should be concerned there may as well be no grammatical issues.
And finally characters, there has not been an unmemorable character or even any who feel unnecessary to building the world as everyone brings new insights or will likely do so soon. If I had to choose the strong point of the novel it's definitely the people inhabiting it and their relationships.
I made this review to counter what I would assume to be negative recies due to a short author absence because it's a great story and no one should be punished for needing to take a break and come back more well rested.

I love the budding relationship that our Main Character has with cultivation and science.  A new outlook towards cultivation.  This book kinda reminds me of Magical Thorne of Arcana, where its MC masters the world of magic with science from his previous world.  Only this is in Cultivation.
Still, this little gem has a great potential for future growth.  It will go to my check daily list for updates.

The story is pretty ok, it is just not that amazing or unique.
It is a pretty standred Isekai story, with a twist that alchemist are shit upon by everyone else, unlike others cultivation novels, to make our MC life a bit more challenging.
The grammers are pretty good as far as I can tell.
Maybe it is just not my cup of tea, do give it a try though, it could be to your liking.

For context I've read through the entire first book.
The basic storyline is pretty good with a somewhat vague though mostly standard cultivation system, several hidden problems for the MC to discover and solve, and enough backstory that plot beats mostly stay within expectations.
The MC ineptly attempts to figure out the cultivations sytem. However the MC clearly has little idea how to conduct actual scientific work beyond 8th grade science projects and his token attempts to control variables quickly dissolve as he ends up rushing forward based on feelings as soon as anything succeeds. The MC also has a habit of saying awkward things like "in the name of science!" that would have no meaning whatsoever to anyone in the world he now inhabits yet no one calls him out on it. The MC's outlook is "nice" to a fault and altruistic to the point of failing at self-care, with all the allied side characters miraculously happy to instantly abandon their entire cultural outlook in favor of his.
Despite this the MC manages to accomplish some cool things, and enough things go right with the overall plot to have kept me reading through the first book. Unfortunately the story is plagued by a number of gramatical tics common across all characters like everyone constantly awkwardly using the word "such" as noun. There are also quite a few typos primarily of the type where a single letter change created a different word than intended.
While I'd like to find out where the wider plot ends up, I'm not sure if/when I'll return to push through these issues to find out in the later books. Many of these issues could be fixed with some careful review/editing, so hopefully that will get done at some point.

the author has a solid command of grammar and of the tropes of the genre, but as noted in other reviews the character frequently claims science, without any attempt to actually sell the fact he is in fact conducting himself in a rigorous fashion. arbitrary numbers with no obvious basis can be given a pass in a litrpg where the setting itself contains degree of fiat, but when you're supposedly doing tests and analysis a bit more of a rationale is necessary.
there are also an awful lot of perspectives in play, and i think that greatly weakens the work. even moreso with how randomly they seem to be switched between.
on the whole i don't hate it, i just found myself going "oh. we swapped perspective again. meh" because i just completely lack investment in both the characters and the purported unseen science. so i'm dropping the story not out of distaste, but mostly out of apathy.
i hoped for better after truthseeker.
