- suppestianRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The Story is good.
It's nothing sophisticated, the theme of what would u do when you could restart is used in dozens of different Asian webnovels. So if u searching for a new mindblowing concept it's simply not your story.
That's said till now it never took on the most horrible tropes. Non! And I love it for that part alone.
1. No supertragic betrayal at the start, which simply doesn't work because to use tragic in a story u need to be invested in a character (and no one can be after 1min reading)
2. No rich young masters trying to kill someone in RL for a beginner quest.
3. No swearing to save the world and then stopping to violently punishing every perceived minor slight that happens since birth.( God do I hate those).
4.No convoluted plan for the next 10years who funnily work without a major hiccup.
So you see while not being super innovative it's sidestepped everything annoying while bringing us new fun in the small things. (bubblemagic best magic)
It's the written equivalent of an action movie. Fast pacing in the story are underlined with appropriate syntax, fun characters and lighthearted squabbles.
And there's a reason why die hard and co are one of the most watched, so just enjoy the story.
Author good job! - Nicholas PritchettRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0So far so good really like the progression of classes and the tiers and BUBBLE MAGE!!! I would love to eat some nails as well! Love how the Mc is avoiding his past class because of his spontaneous warning! Interaction between the lead characters so far is nice and refreshing
- Pieceoftoast0Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story ticks all the boxes for me. The story is interesting and the plot so far is developing at a nice pace. Most of all, the main character is realistic and accurate to how I feel someone who was a regressor would act. Many stories portray their main characters like they're all knowing just because they came from the future when in reality there should be a lot they don't know, this book does not do that. Another bad habit authors of regressor stories is when they make their main character act like a dying old man chock full of wisdom when in reality they only have a 20-40 year headstart, this makes no sense to me, especially if lifespans become a lot longer after the apocalypse due to magic or something. Something I like about this main character is that he actually seems to be making friends with the characters shown rather than just mentoring then and seeing them as NPC's at worst and students at best. This novel has none of these problems and has even more things going for it on top of it, for example I'm eager to see the main character return to earth with all his power eventually, all I ask is you see this story to the end and maybe even create an entire series on it. I've certainly seen much much worse stories get to be published on amazon, and I'm saying that aware of the fact there are only 5 chapters total as of now.
God speed friend. - Shades98Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story has a great premis and is a breathe of fresh air when reading stories about how a person goes back in time after reality is destroyed by assimilation into a new world. The major thing I like about this story is that a lot of thought and preperation has gone into the background of the world and the character builds that are possible. Yes it is only 16 chapters into the story and there is a lot more to come but what little we see through the eyes of the MC shows that the author has taken a lot of care in building this world and story.
Style & Grammar
It needs a good editor to go through it and help the author clean up some of the errors in the grammer and help make it so that the sentence structure is complex as this would make the story easier to read and more free flowing. For the Grammer nazis out here they will not enjoy this story due to the obvious mistakes, but don't let the fallacies of the author get in the way of such a great story. These things can be easily fixed with the right editor. - ShadoCat2Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a heavily done field and usually it is a case of "the main character is justified in being a jerk because of when they went through before".
That is not the case here.
The main character was, apparantly, a bit of a jerk the first time around and is turning over a new leaf. Instead of solo power leveling, he is working on building up everyone else also.
That doesn't make him rainbows and flowers but it he does try to help everyone even if it is giving advice to someone while holding them by the throat after having chopped off all their limbs.
The main character isn't a jokester but has enough of a sense of humor to see the irony in some of his actions.
I look forward to every new chapter. - quasarflareRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's a solid beginning that has me hooked. I was somewhat worried at the beginning when the writing was a little more casual than I prefer for stories, but it seems to have tightened up after the initial chapter dump.
Nothing particularly revolutionary with the magic system, but it ticks a lot of "feel-good" points in this genre, so I'll be lookign forward to how it advances. - CausticalRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The content and worldbuilding is really good, a few too many infodumps and run on sentences, however, it barely impacted my reading experience. The long passages sent me into a skim and flow experience, which I rather enjoy. So 5 stars for me.
Keep up the good work!
50 words needed in a review! Write one down, send it aground, 49 words needed in the review... - F.L. RileyRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The author has done a relatively good job dealing with a character that was sent back in time and given a second chance. A chance to make changes and maybe change the course of history.
What makes this interesting is that more than one person has been sent back, and that character is not regaining old skills. He has the knowledge from the future to know what builds are the most powerful, how to get classes, and how the world is about to change.
And he shares that knowledge. He posts on forums that explain how to get certain classes, what stats are the most important for that class, how learning classes, spells, and skills are more important in the early game than leveling up.
He has an ego and is sure of himself and his choices. That certainty has already caused problems.
A System LitPRG novel that is worth the read.
The character is focused, still two-dimensional, but the author has begun taking steps to flush him out. A past girlfriend. A new set of friends that he is helping. And tidbits of information given to NPC's that might or might not be real.
Give it a try if you like stories with game mechanics. I am looking forward to what happens. - FictionPackRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0An interesting premise backed by a rather unique Class and Job system of a MMORPVRG where the entire globe has unwittingly signed on to a race against the clock.
A time traveling gamer fic about the imminent end to the world as they know it where every choice matters in the survival of not just the players, but the world's themselves.
Looking forward to seeing how this story develops .
Game On! - KavikRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I love the unique classes and magic, it's unlike anything I have read before. This story has all the familiar bits we love but makes them fresh, new, and exciting. Bubble mages and metal munching warriors make for cool and different characters that are engaging. I was hooked after the first few chapters.
