Jones heads to the forest for the simplicity which has so far eluded him. He doesn't find it. Despite this, his world may not end.

'The Last Days of Firdale' is a love letter to control freaks; anyone whose view of how much they can change and whether it's important has expanded to a point of suffocation. Jones aims to smooth the ripples in the pond of his life while others all around him are lobbing rocks into the water.

The sole remnant of an ancient forest. A mill town whose time has seemingly passed. A cadre of environmentalists determined to cement a legacy. And Jones, just looking for a little less noise in the world.
