I hope you'll come back to this book because it looks really interesting. I like how you explored the concept of bad or evil so far like not everyone that does something wrong is doing that because they are necessarily bad maybe they just are pushed to it by the surrounding circumstances.
I also like how you started with this preview of what she will become and after gaining her powers her sense of justice or apathy to some things is slowly slipping away. She is a lot more willing to do stuff she would never consider doing before like killing someone, at the same time, it is like 2 personalities are fighting inside her.
Are the powers and the armor somehow affecting her mind?
Is it the doing of the faction that gave her these powers?
Or is this just human psyche when given so much power all of a sudden?
Or could it just be her human mind changing, becoming more cruel after learning what everyone around her is thinking and experiencing what they have done?
These are only some questions running through my mind after reading this.
I hope this review will motivate you to continue writing this and continuing with this story or motivate more people to read it.

I really like how we can see Cassie change chapter after chapter, i like how there are deep thoughts for the morals issues, and love how everything (apart cassie and her powers) might have really happened in the past, when every one of us readers was in high school, and i like that every characters has at least a few sentences to explain why they act like they do, the grammar is normal
So, what i don't like?
:( the few chapter, but i will wait 😉
