With the death of the High King’s son. Aurora has a chance to change her fate by participating in the King Trials.

The line of succession, forever altered. All nine Domuses are to send their eldest descendant of pure blood, by the order of His Majesty, to be tested of their worthiness to reign over the nine provinces of Urium. Aurora is the only female, challenged to compete against eight other male candidates. All from different kingdoms.
