RoyalRoad readers are not strangers to waiting for chapters. Don't be afraid to take a week to write your chapter. Try to get it to 1500 words, then see if you want to go higher or not. But right now I'm just blazing through what is effectively 2 chapters of a japanese light novel, spread out into 9 pages.

The story moves at a decent clip, but it feels well-balanced because the main character is just so lethargic.
