"Alright, so I have this idea, a completely original one by the way, never done before." I say.

"Alright, lets hear it." You reply happily.

"What if you got trapped in the body of a tentacle monster that looks like a virus in a world that is like a videogame, with skills and... whoops slip of the tendril there, what I meant to say is Mutations and Levels as you evolve your way up from being that lowly creature into a slightly better lowly creature, all the while, an evil devil person watches over you for entertainment purposes." I say making weird hand gestures across the table. "Oh and that main character used to be a human male and uses its past experience as one to survive in this new world as a little mass of flesh." I pull out a little ball with suction cup tendrils and show you. "So, what do you think?"

" I dont know seems, a little sameish, I think Im gonna go." You say as you start to get up from your worn but still plush velvet chair.

"Wait" I sigh, " I didnt want to do this but you leave me no choice, I promise you an extremely diverse harem..." The door closes as you leave.

"They'll come back." I say hopeful.

The story doesn't take itself too seriously, but maintains a meaningful and enjoyable plotline at the same time. The pacing is good, and the progression feels rewarding and well-earned. If you are looking for a light, fun read, and like the idea of a "monster" MC, you should definitely give this one a go.

Pretty good, though the description is way off the mark. No harem at all so far (unless we are counting the literal pet crab), and the MC is a legitimately interesting and creative beasty with only a passing resemblance to Generic Tentacle Monster 3B. Also, there was a very interesting and creative twist added at the beginning of chapter 19...

Well worth reading for a fun time with great characters and excellent pacing. This story really captures the wondrous curiosity of a new world. All the characters feel very real and all the motivations and actions make sense. It really balances having fun exciting moments without needing anyone to hold the idiot ball. I'm really looking forward to seeing where this tale goes next.

As per the other reviews it does seem very similar to what that spider novel might be about, it's fem-fiction, monster-to-human (probably) and it's got twists.
Between the expansive types of monster abilities, the humans having their own equivelent and sentient god like entities instead of a proper system, it's definitely something that could grow to be a mainstay series.

This is quite enjoyable, a budding harem, which doesn't seem to go into any wrong directions. Nice comedy reminding of "Kumo desu ga, nani ka?", if the release rate stays the same this story should quickly grow in popularity with time. All in all a great story, I am guessing the MC will soon turn into a human/humanlike and become a hero/villain.
But while this is a great story at the moment, many things are yet to open up. About the condition of the world, the heroes and villains, superpowers and mana/magic. And most importantly the MCs goal and path in all of that chaos.

This story is about an MC dropped into the heat of it right from the beginning like the famous spider. And just like that story with one has been a blast to read. This story is filled is pop culture references that will put a smile to the face like an episode of Rick and morty. If you are looking for a serious story this isn't for you but is you are looking to smile and maybe even laugh a few times for the next few hours I would suggest this story.

I quite enjoyed this little progression grind filled story until the point the system started screwing her over.
There are probably people who enjoy twist like that, but the step from snarky condescension to acts of active manipulation/sabotage - even if in the end selecting the appropriate option - just went a step too far for my enjoyment.

This is surprisingly good I expected wierd tentacle jokes and trash to kill some time. However it turned into an interesting monster mc dungeon survival. It reminds me a lot of so I'm a spider so what. It's pretty funny to some of the jokes miss but generally it's good. Hermit crab waifu has also been implied so there's that to look forward to.

The synopsis reflects the rest of the story.
Light hearted, silly fun that uses very basic often disjointed language.
Definately the kind of story that you read for a laugh or a 'oooh cool hermit crab girl'.
The author has started alluding to a larger more indepth world which is nice because I can see the being stuck in a volcano stick becoming bland.
All in all I would say give it a go if you enjoyed reading the synoposis you should enjoy the rest.

A Half way decent story. The attempts at humor are hit or miss. You may need to uses google to understand some of the references especially if you've never played the game Portals. The biggest issue is that when the author writes from the perspective of secondary or supporting characters the story feels off. It's stilted and unnatural because it's more of a narration of the secondary characters thoughts and actions by a third party.
