The Iron Hand

The Empire of Man has shattered following a civil war that lasted for a decade. With the enthronement of the Usurper, half of the vassal states have split off from the once glorious Empire. His forces greatly weakened from their victory, the Usurper had no choice but to endure the schism lest his forces spread themselves too thin.Seeing the weakness in the lands of men, the other races have started to expand. Freed from the threat of the Imperial Legions, the dwarves and wood elves have started to reclaim parts of their ancestral lands conquered by the humans. Allowed to breed unchecked, monsters once again roam the lands of men along with darker creatures thought to exist only in myth.The lack of order and peace has given rise to a new profession: the bounty hunter. Free roaming adventurers who are part mercenary, part assassin. Willing to hunt anything alive or dead, willing to do the dirtiest work for the right price, no task is below these men and women.One of the most ruthless of these scum is a man they call the Iron Hand. Nobody knows when he first descended onto the land to ply his craft, but nobody can deny his effectiveness. When he takes a contract, he sees it completed to the ends of the land. Petty criminals and infamous brigands alike all fear the name of the Iron Hand.
