Your writing is not bad and your grammar is almost perfect. With that said, I'm not a big fun of starting with a tragedy happening to the MC. Taking the time to know the MC better and get attached to them befor the tragedy hit, makes it much more impactful.

The grandfather saying just some vague warning was really unsatisfying. Why won't he give something more useful with his dieing breath?
You MC is not bad, and I do like him, but we needed more time to relate to him.

I'll start this off by saying that the story looks interesting, and that the main character seems relatively fleshed out. However, I feel as though the writing needs to be run through Grammarly or some other spellchecker/grammar checker as there are many identifiable mistakes in the English. These mistakes go as far as basic punctuation and capitalization, and fixing these mistakes would go a long way as to the quality of the story.
I would also like a little bit more information into the MC and his situation - I feel as though I'm being told a lot of things without much emotional attachment to the character as I don't have much information about him.
The plot intrigues me, and I'll definitely be checking in soon to see what goes on later. However, unfortunately, I do think that if the grammar and English mistakes aren't fixed, I probably won't give it a read as it makes it a little clunky.
Overall, I'm interested, but have my reservations about reading.
