Originally, Jin Kai was meant to use the Shopping Mall System to establishThe Immortals Shopping Mall, turning countless beings across the universe into his customers. However, he breaks free from the author’s control, interferes with reality, and rewrites the story itself. Now, the title reads"The Immortals Shopping Mall ???"—because not only has Jin Kai gone rogue, but he has also triggered a chain reaction. Characters who were supposed to be ordinary have now become protagonists, and as a result,The Immortals Shopping Mallis no longer the heart of the story. At its core, the novel has become something entirely unpredictable.

But can this world truly withstand so many protagonists? What will become of the ordinary mortals caught in their wake? How will the heavens respond to such upheaval? And in retaliation, what actions will the Author, the Cracked Storyteller, and the Author Support System take?More importantly… what will you do about it?And even more importantly, what role will The Immortals Shopping Mall play in the story in the future?

This novel is no longer just about a simple shopowner. Instead, it offers a rich narrative filled with unique characters, humor, moments of seriousness, intriguing ideas, and philosophical themes. This novel promises to help you forge your Dao Heart. But of course, such a grand story won’t unfold overnight…

I must say, it's very interesting beginning. I've never seen anything quite like it before, and it's also incredibly fun; I absolutely love Cracked Storyteller's reactions!
I normally don’t write reviews for newly started novels, but I’ll summarize a little for you. Because from what I can tell, the comedy, philosophy, and action are going to be great.
In Chapter Six, we see the character Lin Feng attain enlightenment and form his Tao Heart:'If the only regrets I have before I die are "if onlys"... if my last words are "if only," then why do I even live?'
    I really loved this moment!
Also, the Synopsis mentions that there will be multiple main characters. If each of them has a unique and distinctive Dao Heart like Lin Feng, then this story truly feels like it’s headed somewhere incredible! Just like the Synopsis says:
But can this world truly withstand so many protagonists?
What will become of the ordinary mortals caught in their wake?
How will the heavens respond to such upheaval?
And in retaliation, what actions will the Author, the Cracked Storyteller, and the Author Support System take?
More importantly… what will you do about it?
And even more importantly, what role will The Immortals Shopping Mall play in the story in the future?
    ...
I can't wait for the new chapters!

The Immortals of the Shopping Mall??? is a cultivation/xianxia story with a unique and high-concept premise centered around a shopping mall  As well as a meta narrative involving a reward system and the writer of this story.
Unique Premise: The high-concept idea of a shopping mall in a cultivation setting is creative and stands out in the genre.
Attempt at Humor: The story tries to inject humor and creativity into the narrative, which shows potential.
I recommend The Immortals of the Shopping Mall??? to readers who enjoy unique and creative premises in the cultivation/xianxia genre with a heavy dash of humor. The story is still developing but given time it could really turn into a very engaging and humorous read

    This is definitely a story.
The meta angle in conjunction with the xianxia angle leaves a lot going on, and there's an ample amount of tipping back and forth between the two to the point that it often becomes outright confusing. The meta parts can grow stale quickly and are often tricky to follow--and they're incredibly jarring, at that. The lore disseminations pop up in the middle of the story and the meta segments alike. It can become very hard to keep track of what's going on in general on a regular basis. There's also the chronic issue of language that doesn't suit a xianxia, especially in instances of modern day swearing in excess. Reading-wise, it can be tricky.
But good God, is it funny.
Possibly not in the way the author intended, but there were an ample amount of times I genuinely laughed throughout the chapters I read. It's very transparent that the author is having fun writing a story far--far--from usual xianxia faire. It's their car, and they're driving it wherever they'd like. The first few paragraphs killed me. If there's a comedy angle here, it's relatively solid. No idea what was going on with the spontaneous emoticon in the middle of one argument, but I was absolutely dying. Provided the story isn't taking itself overly seriously and that wasn't the intent, it's fun. That's what matters.
Also, for whatever reason, the author is really, really good at describing food. I learned what chicken doner is. I learned what ayran is. This was educational, and I regret reading it before breakfast. In a way, the shoptending portions were actually quite cozy, and they were a strong motivator for me to keep reading.
Learned things. Had fun. It was a story.
