Shouts can be heard in the street vendors selling their food and wares to any passersby they can. Through the window of a bar, you hear "Today marks the day of the end of the Mayan calendar at exactly 12 at noon the calendar will end. People wait in anticipation. The clock strikes twelve and everyone is still wondering what will happen then. Then a text appears in everyone's vision.
